    . Lakers were top 5 in offense every year from 2000-2002 (#2 in '01 & '02)

Boston was the same deal. Top 5 in offense in the years Bird was outscored.
For the Celtics, McHale averaged 10 ppg in Larry Birds 1st ring and 15 ppĝ in the 2nd ring.

Pau averaged 19 ppg with the Lakers when they went back to back with Kobe leading the way.

And neither were on the defensive level of AD or Wade.

They simply did more with less.

Pau averages 19 ppg, but ignores how Wade put up 16 ppg in the '13 playoff run. Pathetic.

2013 is a huge inconvenience for their "he only won with stacked" help claim, when Wade was literally one of the worst producing title winning 2nd options ever

Pau's ceiling was 20 ppg. That was his max. Wade's ceiling was 30 ppg or more. He was already a champion with little help before Lebron.

The only reason wade underperformed with lebron was because they were a horrible fit. I'm sure Kobe would've loved to have Dwayne Wade in his place when he was winning titles.

Kobe + Wade would have been far more devastating than Kobe and Pau.

pretty sure there'll be a 'but' or 'becuause of ____' reason - hypocrisy has no limits for this side of the argument lol

more lies...the fit worked great when Wade was healthy. sadly he broke down and was no where near 30ppg player, and as you can see, more cemented as a 15ppg guy than even 20ppg.

yes if healthy. and dont forget Kobe did attempt to do much the same in getting Dwight and Nash, but like Wade (even though you wont recognize it) were breaking down themselves and no longer the prime players they once were

Wait? Aren't you the same guy who always gushes about Drexler's '95 playoff run because he led the Rockets in ORTG in the playoffs?

Guess what, Pau led the Lakers in ORTG in the '09 & '10 playoff run.

You're nothing but a low IQ troll who provides zero logic.

Well when you're still arguing Kobe > LeBron in 2023, all logic has to be thrown out the window They have to resort to meaningless cherrypicked criteria, which even then, runs into serious problems when the 2013 title run gets brought up.

    From 2011

Not just on the end-of-game isolations, but the fact that Dwyane Wade and LeBron James really play next to each other not with each other most of the time.
    link

    From 2013

As you can see in the chart to the right, James is scoring much more efficiently with Wade on the bench, especially on shots close to the basket.

However, in the 194 minutes played this series with LeBron and Wade both on the court, the Heat have been outscored by 56 points.

You guys are trying to rewrite history.

The irony. Keep propping up Drexler's playoff run in '95 because of ORTG while ignoring Pau led the Lakers in ORTG in '09 & '10.

No they weren't. They both "cratered" numbers-wise from what they were truly capable of because they played with each other. Scoring 24-26 instead of 30 because you're playing with another guy who is capable of that doesn't mean you're underperforming. While together both got even better on the defensive side, both developed stronger off-ball games, Bron became a better shooter, etc.

Look past the numbers sometimes outside of when it specifically benefits you.

I never said Drexler was the best player on the team. Just that Hakeem actually had some help, which most people act like he had none and carried bums.

Drexler wasn't as good as Wade as a talent although he was a great player.

Hakeem actually fit great with Clyde though and the two maximized their potential together.

Coming from a guy who acts like Bird & Kobe carried some bums.
