Any of you have any ongoing bets on the playoffs?
I’m watching the game in a casino with some absolute degenerates right now. I’m not involved. I usually have a bet or two on who’s going to win or not win but since I left work, I’m not around the people I used to bet with. And I’m less into it when it’s just money. I’m the type to bet my money against you having to do something like literally bend the knee and say you were wrong. Pretty sure these mother****ers in here live betting baseball hockey and basketball at the same time are just about the cash.
I don’t care enough about any potential outcome to bet anything this year. You? Is there some jackass you’re gonna have to give $200 if the Celtics win at all or something?

Lakers to beat grizzlies in series

Lakers to win this series, Lakers to win this series in 5 games or ess at 4 to 1 (wi hedge after they win this), Lakers to win West, Lakers to win Chip.

I’ve never been enough of a gambler to bet on multiple legs of a championship run. Just to win or not. I assume it’s setup so losing later won’t wipe out earlier winnings.

I’m now in a different casino(Atlantic city not Vegas) and there are a lot of Philly and Knick fans as you would imagine. I’m hoping to get down to the lounge to mildly antagonize and bet against the Knicks tonight. I don’t expect many laker or warriors fans to bug.

I only bet on fanduel, but it is tough. Seems like most things are just a coin flip which is why degenerate gamblers end up losing everything because they bet on everything instead of being selective.

I've got $50 on the Warriors at +990. Pulled that just before the play-in.

Heat 2.3 is indeed a play tonight

Re: Any of you have any ongoing bets on the playoffs?
I play super safe lol. I bet high, don't win alot, but win. It's actually simple. When there's a blowout with "kinda even" teams (specially safe when the better team gets blown out) and the next game will be at home of the team who got blown out i play that team with extra safety with +X pts. After getting blown out that team with the home crowd will come in usually more focused/motivated and even if they lose the game will be kinda close and the other team due to human nature will think their sh** doesn't stink and not play that hard.
Picked Miami game 3 vs Bucks.
Warriors game 3 vs Kings.
Lakers game 3 and 6 vs Mem.
Knicks game 3 vs Clev.
I also picked Warriors with +12 pts vs Lakers last game even if they were on the road because i knew after the blowout the Lakers wouldn't have that same intensity and focus and the Warriors wouldn't let a 2nd humiliation.
I don't know about the Suns now vs Denver. First if sth happens with Book or Durant it's over, so a team which doesn't have depth in case of accident or foul trouble i wont play. And i feel Denver has the better team and if Durant and Book have an off night it could be a bigger loss. But prob the Suns won't lose with +15 pts at home. I'd have picked the Warriors at home now too if game 4 wasn't that close.
Some teams are difficult to read and some like the Warriors can very well blow you out on the last minutes of the games if they get hot and the Lakers are always gassed end of the games, so it's a risky bet f.ex. to play the lakers game 6 if they get blown out game 5.If game 6 was at Boston i'd have played them vs Philly.

in the 2nd quarter of last nights game, i put 200 on the nuggets moneyline since i know my suns very well and i saw immediately in the 1st quarter that they were digging themselves into a hole they could not climb out of. won the bet. put all the winnings on the lakers moneyline for tonight, hoping lbj closes this out.

Hope you’re right and i know it’s « only » your win money, but thats not a bet i’d take vs the Warriors. Warriors losing 3 in a row, game at home is a damn risky bet. I’d rather wait this game out and play the Lakers game 6. But like i said hope you win!
And its good when you know your team. Of course accidents along the way can happen, but with a solid team like Denver and one who relies on 2 guys, you can foresee sometimes whats coming and the in-play bets are then great!

knowing my luck with gambling, i'm sure i'm gonna lose tonight haha. thats why i only bet amounts that i won't miss parting with in case i lose the wager. warriors have been melting down though, their offense is terrible some nights...hoping tonight is one of those nights.
