Re: REturning to the value of two finals MVP's
He won mvp before he joined them so he was going to the Hall regardless.
Also to be clear he was there for three years just got hurt in the third.

Re: REturning to the value of two finals MVP's
Lol he got free cakes with the warriors during his stay rt. Too bad kawhi had to stop him in his third run doe. So three-peat no more.
And no, don't even mention about injuries. Kawhi got it first which eventually led him to leave texas a year later.

Yes, a team that had just won 73 games, had the 2x MVP and 2 other All-NBA players was in "dire" need of help. Great point.
Well Cupcake is with the Suns this year , and will probably go farther than his past two teams.
Yeah, I would hope he'd go further than Brooklyn
But this thread is about K.Durant.
It was about him the entire time
We forget that Durant was in his quite essential PRIME when he was playing for the Warriors.
In the two years he was there , he accomplished a pretty darn good record, 2 chips and 2 mvp's
Literally nobody has forgotten this
MAKING HIM LITERALLY A WALK IN HOF'er.
No shit sherlock
Subtract those and would he be a walk in ??
Absolutely retarded question
Durant did something few have ever done , go to another team , and make them back to back champs with him as the primary scoring source.
Give him his due ________________________
As of now, KD undoubtedly comes out of the losing end of this argument. The Warriors won a title before he got there and then after he left, while he has only made a single Finals outside of Golden State.

You really think Wars would of won two more rings at that time without Durant??
Where did your 73 win finish the season ?

Re: REturning to the value of two finals MVP's
the value of this thread is coming : Suns will be playing to go forward , and Durant on his downhill of his prime , just watch and enjoy.
He is a unique as hell player ever in the league , and probably will never see another one in your lifetime.

Re: REturning to the value of two finals MVP's
Was he even the real MVP in those two series or did they just give it to him because he was on the winning side.
Being a Hall of Famer and joining a finals team to get you those accolades taints the accolades in my opinion.

you guys act like he is an average to all-star quality player.
At the time he joined the War's he was a super star.

So a team that over the previous 2 years had won 140 games, a championship, and was literally a minute away from winning another couldn't have won again without a top 20 player of all time joining the team? Do you not realize how completely idiotic that sounds

Re: REturning to the value of two finals MVP's
He joined a team that could have won a ring without him. Its not that hard to understand.

Top 10.
Re: REturning to the value of two finals MVP's
Look at the list of a ton of people who get in the HOF, it's insulting to ask if KD would get it without those two seasons.
