Great scorers in previous eras needed great mid-range to shoot over packed paints and mid-range is Lebron's biggest weakness along with needing spacing

This proves that Lebron's game wouldn't fit in previous eras and he would be a lesser player back then..

And Lebron has never been a dominant post player - his "physicality" occurs on drives, which he would do less often due to the lack of spacing and packed paints.

Btw, aside from Shaq, there isn't a single big man that only used power back then - they all dominated the post with jump hooks and deft touch from mid-range.. This includes Kareem, Sikma, Hakeem, Ewing, Robinson, Seikaly - all were deft mid-range shot-makers.. Maybe Zo is an example of a power center but even he had a go-to jump hook.

So you're just wrong in your assessment of Lebron.. He would clearly be much worse back then.. It's intuitive.. The physicality and lack of driving lanes would turn him into a passive facilitator like Kidd or Magic, and he lacks the mid-range touch required to shoot over packed paints/dominate.

These kinds of discussions will never not be dumb about what player X does in a league 20 years before or after his actual era. It's like we just teleport players back to the future style without any due consideration that every player is a product of the era that preceded them. If you take 21 year old Michael Jordan and put him into 2020, you're not going to see the same player we saw in 84. If you can accept that, then you can also accept that taking 20 year old Lebron and putting him back in 1984 is similarly going to result in a different player, with different strengths and weaknesses from the one we've seen playing since 2003.

Honestly I don't think he should have been banned. He's not starting threads so he's not spamming. He has a right to his eccentric opinions.

I can understand him defending his pride it's your mindless devotion to another man that doesn't make any sense. Jordan was completely unstoppable until he got old. That's a fact unlike the stupid crap you continue to post.
It's not mindless to listen other players...especially the intelligent ones. Wilt, Jerry, and Bill are three players that have proven to me to have opinions worth listening to. Also seeing how poorly Jordan performed against the Pistons I tend to agree with Wilt

LBJ didn't even destroy his era, what makes you think he'd destroy a different era with a different set of rules and playing style? Russell destroyed his era, Magic, MJ and Shaq did also to their respective eras...4 chips in 20 years doesn't equate to "destroying your era".

Anyone in the top 15 would destroy any era. That includes older guys like Russell & Wilt.

All he has to do is not talk about LeBron and he just can’t do it.
