not too many people have this opinion. just half the media... for most fans and players they're jordan/kobe guys and a small percentage of fan/players have lebron over both or lebron 2nd
the only mj guys that trash Kobe are like 60+

Re: LeBron James and Kobe Finals stats
While Kobe's stats in the finals were less than stellar, it should be noted that Kobe usually had the tougher road to the finals. Taking a look at Kobe's WCF finals numbers, he performed pretty well between 2000-2010 where he put up 28/6/6/1/1 on 57% TS%.

like I said it was just normal for guys to shoot lower percentages back then. almost everyone did. Jordan's last 3 finals percentages weren't great either. tons of guys struggled cause believe it or not but there was this thing called defense. it's not seen much anymore but it was really something back in the day
plus kobe played on a broken ankle in his first finals. then was recovering from food poisoning in another. had broken hands and fingers in his shooting hand or torn shoulders and knees. he was simply never healthy
he always played hurt

He was better. And even Lebron was afraid of him.

Ball-dominators can't win with secondary producers at sidekick, while expert jumpshooters can
Ball-dominators lost with Porzingas, Brunson, Worthy, Ingram, Mo Williams, Jamison, Zydrunas, Love or Kuzma, while expert jumpshooters won with Jason Terry, Wiggins, Pippen, Lowry and Pau

Kobe has the worst shooting percentages among the top 15 players of all time

to have his career as a 6'4/6'5, 210 pound shooting guard is actually super rare. most guys in the top 15 are big guys that scored mainly inside like a shaq, wilt, kareem, magic, russell, duncan, lebron, hakeem, moses, dr J and soon to be giannis
to win 5 titles, 2 finals mvps, a league mvp ( should've been 2 or 3 ) and drop 33k points is so unheard of for a guy of kobes position
of course the only guy in the top 15 that takes crazy shots other than curry ( the goat shooter ) is gonna have the lowest percentage
even jordan mostly scored inside for the first half of his career. but during the second half he did have finals where he shot 41% in 1996, 45% in 1997 and 42% in 1998
this is actually what makes kobe and jordan so amazing. they're smaller guys that aren't dependent on playmaking to be great. they're scorers and defenders. something big men and bigger guys throughout nba history are known for dominating the most
