Titles are overrated
KD last shot below 50% in 2012. And that was .496.
He’s shooting 55% this year.
That man can score.
Just letting you know.

He's always made scoring look effortless

He's like someone took an SG's core and then attached a seven footers limbs. Never seen a player that length with that skill set. I do think the Achilles cost him some defensive ability but on offense you can't tell what he's lost if anything.

He's not near as efficient in the playoffs, playing on a stacked GS team notwithstanding.

His midrange j off the dribble has to be near the best ever. He can shoot it at any time moving any direction and make all of them at a high rate.

You say that like 30 on 52/39/88 is something to expect in the playoffs. The “empty the clip” aspect of losing a playoff series as a scorer is usually enough to crater shooting numbers.

That’s what makes his Celtics series so insane, he didn’t even come close to shooting 47% in any game that series

Iggy and Evan Turner talked about that. They seemed to suggest that series shows how little fans know about what they’re seeing and that every nba player knows the Celtics completely sold out to stop him but fans just see the numbers and don’t understand the schemes.
It was a podcast episode where I think Iggy said to real ballers KD was top 2 and he wasn’t 2. And I think it was after the Turner/Kd beef.
KD might be the ballers best player the way Kobe used to be.
