The coach typically should try to resolve issues with the best player and arguably best player on the planet.
It's usually a pretty good idea.

Its a crazy situation but if they are keeping Durant then this makes sense. Nash is doing what he has to. Make no mistakes Durant is completely in the wrong and ridiculous. He wants Nash canned because Nash doesn't hold anyone accountable while ignoring that his support of Irving is the reason why Nash can't hold people accountable. It's completely backwards and if you are ever in charge of anything you pray not to have to deal with Durant's brand of bullshit. But because he is such an immense talent he can be this kind of completely un-self aware pain in Nash ass.
One day a book will be written about all of this and two people are going to look awful. The same two that already do.
