Default 2022 Camp begins-The tank is on

Can't say I'm real happy about Clarkson, Conley, Gay and now Zeller being on the team and taking reps away from their young guys especially if they really had deals for Clarkson and Conley and are waiting for more. Clarkson should help them lose games I guess anyway!

    Olynyk/Udoka/Zeller/Kessler/Potter
    Markkanen/Vanderbilt/Gay/Johnson
    Fontecchio/Alexander-Walker/Bolmaro/Juzang/
    Beasley/Clarkson/Horton-Tucker/Agbaji
    Sexton/Conley/Butler/Lee

Looks like they have to cut someone before camp even begins. Zeller? 18 guaranteed deals. Let's have some fun Ainge! I'd guess if they end up having to cut guaranteed deals that Johnson would be gone for sure. Not sure after that?

Tony Jones: Justin Zanik: we are going to try and win every single game. From jump. Our veterans are here, they are in shape, and they are going to play

good luck even if you are trying. Conley put up all star numbers on Memphis and they sucked without Gasol. Sexton has put up big numbers on a bad team too. They will be awful. Clarkson helps them there

Eric Walden: Jazz injury updates: • Walker Kessler fully cleared from toe injury • Udoka Azubuike continues to progress from ankle surgery, but not cleared for 5 on 5 • Collin Sexton has been cleared after last year’s meniscus surgery.

That explains Zeller and Olynyk. Too bad for Dok. Was solid when he started before the latest injury. Don't rush Kessler or anyone else. The 3 seems like their weak spot now behind the Italian

Jamal Collier: Injury updates Bucks GM Jon Horst: Says he expects Khris Middleton back sometime early in the season. Wasn’t sure about opening night, but said Middleton is making progress. Joe Ingles could be ready to play sometime in December or January

Bryce Cotton dropped an easy 36 points, doing anything he wanted off pin-downs, on-balls, one-on-one action; every way he’s capable of scoring – of which there are many — he showed it off in this one. “Man, it’s unreal,” his teammate, Luke Travers, told ESPN. “Everyone knows he could possibly be in the NBA – he’s definitely good enough – so it’s fun when he gets in that zone.”

Eric Walden: NAW said it’s scary to him to adopt the perception that there will be more opportunity for him this season. He’s just trying to control what he can: “It’s about making sure I give him reasons to play me, whether it’s last year’s team or this year’s.”

certainly no guarantee of playing time with Conley and Clarkson still around

"I want a team that competes. I want a team that cares about winning," new coach Will Hardy said. "I understand that there are individual aspects to playing at this level, but I want people that are solely focused on winning basketball games for the Utah Jazz."
the one guy that was focused on winning is in Minnesota

We can clearly see that the team is shooting for their ceiling and will maximize all talent available to them. As constructed, this team is not headed for a premium lottery pick so barring additional roster adjustments lowering the ceiling, fans should plan for a developing winning culture.
predicted to be bottom 5. They will be awful!

We debated how good we thought this team might be. While there are a lot of legitimate NBA players on the roster, there aren’t any players who have proven ability to lead a team to wins outside of Mike Conley, who is probably past that point of his career. Almost every player on the roster has recently been on a lottery team, and they were never too good to prevent that team from losing. So while there are a lot of decent or even good players, the sum of the team’s parts is still very much a lottery team.
Memphis sucked Conley's last year despite him playing at an all star level
