His peak in terms of offensive skill set, tbh. Amazing run.

Up until he quit on his team and visibly threw his teammates under the bus in a still winnable game one of the finals.

After what was predominantly an iconic performance, and the best game of his life, against the best possible competition he could face.

Kind of like a 6 foot 8 250 pound version of Allen Iverson‘s one man performance against a goliath in the 2001 Shaq and Kobe led Lakers. Only difference? Allen Iverson is a warrior and has the heart of a Champion … whereas Bron rolled over and quit.

When the going gets tough, LeBron gets to quitting and running, probably a genetic trait from his father bailing on his responsibilities.

Basically a microcosm of him as a player and his career.

After he passed out what would’ve been the game-winning shot with a little Steph Curry guarding him, and threw it to a much less suspecting player who shouldn’t have shouldered that pressure, and wasn’t having the game of his life.

When he himself forgot there was a time out remaining as well, but made it everybody else’s fault … like the coward he is.

And then proceeded to pout and leave in the middle of a post game press conference.

And then to end the series quit after game one, and showed up in the final game press conference with his wife’s stocking wrapped around his hand, acting like it was broken.

Shame he ended such an amazing playoff run on such a shitty note.

That’s what makes the Game 1 ending so painful. The Cavs beating the Warriors on their home floor with LeBron dropping 50 in one of the greatest Finals performances ever would’ve been a huge opening statement, esp with the way he had been playing that postseason.

I’m still picking the Warriors to win, but that at minimum would’ve made that series interesting.

And the ending of game 1 makes what he accomplished in the first 3 rounds even more impressive, considering he single-handedly carried teammates with IQs that are as low as J.R. Smith's proved to be all the way to the finals.
