Lou Williams and Monte Ellis were both drafted out of HS, fell to the 2nd round, and did pretty well.

Yea most of them are between ok and all time great. The bad ones mostly still had good long careers. Kwame is the most infamous and he played 12 seasons. Olowokandi was drafted first like 3 years earlier and I think he played maybe 8 years? Anthony Bennett is a bigger bust than anyone drafted out of high school.

There’s obviously the talent factor to consider because the hs to pro guys were mostly phenom types to begin with but plenty of guys like that go to college and fall apart. If they came right to the league people would be claiming if they went to college they might have made it.

Not everyone makes it regardless of path but it seems an awful lot of the no college guys do.
