Lots of Heat players were injured. I agree that 2011 was a big choke-job. However, in 2014 the Spurs were basically better and the Heat had an aging and injury-proned roster.

Nick Anderson missing four consecutive free throws at the end of game 1 of the 1995 finals contributing to the Magic's loss was probably the most devastating loss experienced by an individual player in recent memory (If you consider 27 years to be "recent memory"). While he had some solid seasons after that, he simply never recovered.
