But Hollywood does these faux stunts all the time. They drum up controversy and ratings, and gullible ‘Mericans gobble it up.

But hey what do I know, I only lived and worked out there for a near decade, and even participated in scripted reality shows marketed as “real-time reactions.” Im sure this was as real as the beefs on Jerry Springer.

You are obviously a very smart individual, but I think you are wrong here. You tend to think everything is a conspiracy, which is something I'm sometimes guilty with as well, that kinda clouds your judgment. Like when you said Ben Simmons was faking his back injury, but now it looks like his back issues are real and confirmed by even his head coach.

To me the moment I saw Denzel comfort him in a commercial break kinda confirmed to me it was real. Then in Will Smith's acceptance speech he specifically said "Denzel just told me the devil will appear at your highest moments", that was the cherry on the top.

And notice how Chris Rock was stumbling around with his words right after the slap, he was shook.
