In recent months there have been a lot of athletes randomly collapsing due to heart related issues. The problem seems to be most prevelant in europe right now, the number of european pro soccer players that have collapsed on field from cardiac events over the past year is more than the previous 20 years combined.

Is it just a random coincidence that players are suddenly collapsing from heart problems at such a high rate, or is something else going on?

I saw that but i wonder how much of that is b.s. maybe athletes pass out all the time because of the physical stress but they just don't always show it. Highlight videos like that can make anything look serious. I'm not discounting it i just don't know for sure. There's alot of trickery from both sides these days.

Any statistic can be made to appear significant if you make the sample size small enough.

I believe the majority of these deaths are based on reading posts from Stern and Patrick.... to much can most definitely kill you
