Had a double route delivering newspapers back in the late60's early 70's.
Sunday paper was 3 inches thick. you needed a week to read it all.
Local news and world news tonight were on then.
ironically the older I got , I listened to radio news.. seemed easier.

When I moved to northern Wisc. the local news was like high school students putting on a show.
That has changed and much more professional.

Hate to say but newspapers are really struggling with the internet..

advertising/propaganda were morally loose tools that helped people get to where they needed to be faster

people wrote nice things and life lessons everywhere


history would incline to state that the direction of humanity (right/wrong) would have to be found from credible sources, credible being those who had taken a pledge

before the internet front page meant it was important. every day I grabbed an ottawa sun and ottawa citizen news paper before going to highschool. you could tip the boxes over and open them. little trick I learned.
