you know, it's quite weird at first, to hear about your hall of fame beer pong skills had been translated onto the NBA floor. as why the GSW can only win during the regular season slowly make sense: you only use dirt cheap beer to play beer pong, when it comes to anything worth a bit of flavor, of weight, something remotely similar to that of a conversation, no one wants the GSW anymore.

We can do this all day. Still won't change the fact that Steph had not one, not two, but three players who played a better game than Morant's #2 guy.

It also doesn't change the fact that Morant had a +/- of -1 in a 5 point victory.

Steph was the only GS starter with a positive +/- with +4 in a 5 point loss.

This mouth breather is currently talking about the most successful team in the last 10 years. 3 championships, 5 finals. Greatest PS record of all time 1 year, and another year where the champs take down all 4 first team All NBA.

Nor does it change the fact that Morant had a starter teammate foul out 26 minutes into a game that ended up going to overtime whereas all of Curry's teammates that got playing time finished the game just fine.

So it seems that on top of everything else, Curry had help from the refs, as usual. And it still wasn't enough against as weak of an opponent as you'll get in a situation like this.

Gotta love the poetic justice of those play-ins. Curry stans were saying that LeBron was "scared" of meeting Curry in the play-ins after LeBron's statements about them keeping the play-in format after the bubble. Flash-forward and LeBron buries a 4 pointer in Curry's face to secure the Lakers victory over the Warriors, leaving them to play the weak Grizzlies, which they fail to beat. Shit was hilarious, how it backfired.

Both teams were called for 23 fouls, Memphis took 6 more foul shots, but somehow Steph had the refs help? Sure.

Steph played 47 minutes in a 53 minute game. His team was -9 in the 6 minutes he was out. That was their season in a nutshell.

yea, the team responsible to the drop in Ratings for the NBA. and that's even before COVID-19.

you do know, based on 'The Decision', the free agencies help keep the ratings alive

How many 3 pt specialists average 16 ppg on 2s + foul shots, as Steph did last season?

Only one team had a player foul out. It wasn't Curry's team.

Morant's team were forced to give minutes to players they otherwise wouldn't have given minutes to due to a player fouling out. Curry still couldn't win. Failure to beat an objectively weaker opponent in a nutshell.

So who is this mystery player that wouldn't have played without someone fouling out?

It was their center JV that fouled out. His backup played 23 minutes, almost as many as JV.

This mystery player must have been really bad to offset the 6 foul shots disparity.

he didn't win in a 48 minute game, and then lost while playing 4:58 of the extra 5 minutes.
