I never understood the wanna be tough guy shit from the Morris bros. It's not like they are "alphas". Nikola Laimbeer Jokic done what half of the league probably wants to do.

Maybe a bit to much but Meh I don't mind a player sticking up for himself.
Gonna cop a suspension tho. Nba can't have that.

Re: Jokic and Markieff Morris go after it, both ejected
from a neutral or higher moral ground perspective or whatever, yeah, that was poor sportsmanship from jokic.
BUT... in that situation, i totally excuse him for it. and i never cared about pretending to have perfect sportsmanship so my personal view is probably fked by today's standards. i'm from the retaliation era. lol
look, morris striked first with an ugly elbow. that was a cheap motherfcka move. he got what he deserved. he started and begged for drama.
i'm defending jokic and i ain't even in his fan club.

Anyone else find Butler’s constant tough guy act super annoying? He thinks he plays like Kobe with the bark of KG. If he wanted smoke, Jokic would handle him with ease

Yes. He's a latte sipping hipster with an attitude who never won anything. Seems that attitude is what helps him be a solid player though.

What Jokic did with the windup and hit on the other guy with his back turned- putting his full 280 lbs into it..... Should have been escorted off by security off the court. That is not basketball. And we do not want to encourage that kind of reaction no matter what led up to it.
The dregs of this game, the fans that find this acceptable aren't any sort of voice of reason on something like this and their opinion should be discarded. It should be reviewed by the NBA and the appropriate length suspension should serve as a warning to the rest of the league: Do not do anything like this.

Butler lucky Jokic's older brother isn't in the building, otherwise he'd be snapped in half.

"OH NO! NOooo..."
The announcer had me rolling.he was acting like that guy making the lambier call.
On a side note, Jokic knocked the shit out of him. Apparently his brothers are like 7 foot tall eastern European mob types. They were waiting for fake thug marqueef in the parking lot.

Re: Jokic and Markieff Morris go after it, both ejected
Jokic bringing that water polo eastern euro attitude to the NBA. In water polo the vast majority of dirty plays take place under the water so the refs can't see them. The only thing that stops one player from playing dirty is that they know the other player (or a goon coming to protect them) is going to do something worse back to them. It's worth a game suspension or two just to put people on notice that they're going to get wrecked if they try you.

So if I punch the shit out if you and immediately turn my back, you’ll do what?
What game do you think they were playing by even saying something like this?
On general principle, if you give someone violence they never either expected, deserved, or wanted, what rules are there to it?
You just decide to initiate violence, a serious thing - I mean if you saw the replay he bumped knee to knee with Jokic first btw, and then gave him a huge elbow, UNEXPECTEDLY - why would I like follow done random assortment of rules in retaliation? If ****ing rules matter they wouldn’t be in a violent altercation.
And then in general, why would anyone decide to fight anyone fairly, ever? Such a stupid misunderstanding of how serious violence is.
