    Default Kobe Bryant Athleticism

The purpose of this thread is to display Kobe's athleticism. Kobe is one of the best athletes in NBA History.

Don't judge Kobe's athleticism by what he was in his late 20's, his knees were already shot by then. He had knee surgeries in the summers of 2003, 2006, and 2010.

Tim Grover talks about it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YG6ZU-Azttc

Keep in mind, Kobe played in an era where players were bulked up due to physicality and pace of the game. If he played today or in the 80s he’d be a lot leaner, and even more explosive and bouncy.

Kobe had average althetism for a 2 guard post 1992...his skills is what made the difference.

It was great from 2000-2003 but nothing special during his 09/10 rings

I had great athleticism ....at times

the injuries and surgeries were so constant and lingering that I would have moments were I could do windmills and hanging layups and other moments were I could barely get my head to the bottom of the net

my athletic prime was 2001 to 2003. before that I was too skinny and weak. after that I was hobbled with knee injuries that turned me into a pump fake/footwork master. I had some flashes of my old self in 2005 vs Dwight and on nash in 06. then again in 2013 with a few poster dunks. but other than that I dominated my entire prime with little or no athleticism.. I won my 2010 title basically on one leg
