    Default Nets @ Bucks - 2021 Opening Night - Game Thread - 10/19/21 7:30 PM EST

I think the PJ Tucker departure will prove to be a big deal in the postseason, even though the Bucks should still do really well during the regular season.

Even with all of the Kyrie nonsense, after getting Aldridge back? I think the Nets probably win the title this year.

James Harden & Kevin Durant are probably the best duo in the NBA and the Nets have more than enough depth to get it done and go all the way. But will they?

Again, Charles Barkley is back on TV. Best part of tonight imo, lol.

LMA is such an incredily massive + to the most stacked team in the league. Going to be hard to see the Nets beaten once he adjusts with them.

I feel like Harden will either have 40 points or one of those 25 point 17 assist games just mad about the playoffs.

Given how poor he is laterally on defense and as a rim protector I wouldn't say that. Nets have plenty of offense... they need defense. The bucks are going to target him.

All the idiots saying Aldridge is washed and sucks at x and y are about to eat a large pile of ****.

Grayson will be REALLY good for the Bucks too. That's an underrated pickup. He's a better scoring, less capable but equally tenacious defender as Donte.

Harden mad about something usually results in 3-17 shooting and 13 points.

In addition to the offseason improvements, the Bucks should be better off psychologically than they were last year.

For starters, they hopefully won't have the same case of shooter's block (which the wide-open stats proved) now that they've won it all. They should also be more motivated than your typical defending champions if they're listening to the asterisk talk (which the hot-take camp will double down on if we lose tonight against a healthy Harden).

Not at all expecting to repeat unless the stars align for us again this year. But we're in a much more viable position to capitalize on such breaks if they do happen, and we should at least defend our title respectably if they don't.
