Said this during their "preseason games", but the roster is poorly constructed. They're gonna get annihilated on the glass, and when the game slows, its going to be an ISO cluster ****. Not having a real pointguard hurts them bigtime.

USA might win a medal, but it wont be gold.

Wouldn't you know it, extremely physical Jrue Holiday looked great, even though he just got to Japan the night before.

Reminds me of starbury and iverson taking the most shots in 2004. Middleton, Booker, and Jrue shot a combined 6-21. That's your NBA finalists right there boys.
Jrue single handedly got the US back into the game in the 4th. At one point he was on a 12-1 run by himself.

They need to play a bigger frontcourt. They don't really need the NBA style shooting setup; they can get away with an old school lineup.

    I'd try a Javale + Bam frontcourt.

    Size, length, rebounding, defense.

France played Gobert, Fall and Poirier. A 7-1, a 7-2, and a 7-0 guy. They played two of them together at times; it worked very well.

He's the best they've got. Draymond's too small, and KD isn't going to cut it; he was getting moved like a shopping trolley.

Besides: Javale will be perfectly fine. He's tall, long, athletic, and can block shots well.

That's why it's called a team game superior super star players can get you only so fare it's team Basketball and not just jacking up shots because you might just get cold but team Basketball getting high percentage easy buckets insure victory and a score plus great defense otherwise you lose it's happened before to the USA Basketball team with James.
