We’re half way and the clippers are on pace for a 52-30 record over 82. Hardly elite.

At least the Rockets were somewhat competitive with Harden. Meanwhile, the Nets are on another level with him despite KD and Irving missing their share of games.

Harden's case is improving with every passing game. The Nets have been terrific even in games with both KD and Irving out.

But honestly I think Harden is desperate to win a ring. Probably more so than any other player in the league quite frankly... He probably could care less if he wins the MVP or not.
