Default I desperately need your guys help about the footage of Wilt that the NBA archives has

Hello, Insidehoops members I now have the special chance to speak to Barbara O. Lewis who is Wilt's sister and also the rest of his immediate family about getting their personal permission to get out all of the Nba archive footage that involves Wilt.

As I am very nervous about this how do you guys think I should address this particular topic to the Chamberlain family without seeming disrespectful to them.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

What's disrespectful about asking for a video footage of basketball?

Not sure how persuasive you are, but align yourself with them. Tell them how NBA players and viewers often forget how great players of the past are. And it's important to remind them of their achievements. Go on to tell them about your personal work, bringing insight to youtube and this dreaded place and how you've accumulated XXXX views.

To keep Wilt's Legacy going and to commemorate his career this interview would go well with rare footage if you personally find impressive. Not only would that possibly bring the attention of fans but possibly larger media coverage as well.

I'd work along those lines. Build credibility, your goal, how your goal aligns with their views, and how you both could benefit mutually.

I would bring a media release waiver with you just in case. There are lots of templates out there... and be sure to ask if anyone else owns the rights to the videos you use to save yourself from a lawsuit.
