Gobert is a top 5 C in the league, might even be top 3. However, the drop-off after 1 and 2 is enormous

I’d have him 4th. He’s too exploitable in the playoffs for a high level defender. Embiid and Jokic are in their own tier for sure though, but I’d take Bam Adebayo over Gobert too. I’m biased tho

Embiid is physically dominant and gets to the freethrow line a lot like Shaq
That's what I meant but yeah Dirk's prime came when Shaq's prime was falling down, so kind of different eras.

Gobert's performances against Emblid and Jokic have been utterly embarrassing for a player that so many people hype up to be better then he actually is. Shaq was indeed right when he said he would drop 45 and 15 on this dude's head in three quarters as he is a terrible one on one defender against the great center's in the Nba.
