Saw the 4th quarter and Beal was celebrating too much after every made basket thinking they had the game because of the late lead. Gotta be more focused/serious than that to eke out these close games.

They didn't have to foul. That is the key issue. They don't have to foul unless the wizards got past half court.

No you don't blame Beal. Without Beal they lose by 30. Beal is playing at an MVP level, won't sniff the award cause the team is bad but his offense is elite. That last play they had 4 seconds and he got trapped in the corner. It's not so easy to get the angle he would need for a good pass to a man that would be open enough to get off a good shot quickly. No time to think much you need a quick shot, Plus when you are the team's offense like he is you aren't thinking pass with the ball in your hands and 4 seconds.

I know he won't win it I'm just saying that's the level of his offensive game. He's the top scorer in the league and no one can stop him from doing whatever he wants to do offensively.

As soon as Beal caught the ball he was holding it waiting for a foul instead of trying to get the ball past half court. That was the problem.

Still it was an epic game by Beal, an epic season really.

Worth noting: one of them was luck but Tatum has 3 game winning shots this season. I don't know who has the most but he should be high up on the list.
