Default Spurs playing better basketball than expected this season

The Spurs are 17-12, which is the 5th best record in the West, and the 8th best record in the entire NBA.

This with no players on their roster making the All-Star team this year.

    Leading Spurs scorers this season:

DeMar DeRozan 20.3 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 7.0 apg

Dejounte Murray 15.7 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 5.1 apg

    Keldon Johnson 14.5 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 2.3 apg (he's a SF, FYI)

LaMarcus Aldridge 14.3 ppg, 4.5 rpg (just 26.5 mins/game. Quiet year.)

Patty Mills 13.3 ppg (entirely off the bench, 0 starts)

Derrick White 11.8 ppg (only 8 games played)

Rudy Gay 11.2 ppg, 5.2 rpg (entirely off the bench, 0 starts)

    Lonnie Walker 11.0 ppg

Spurs have a big chance to end up as divisional leaders this year while their other divisional mates remain woeful. Hope they keep this up.

Don't you thinks it's better than not playing in the playoffs at all?
