Default LeBron Has Nothing Left To Prove

4 championships with 3 different teams
    4 FMVP
2 of the hardest rings ever (2016 and this year)
    Did it for Kobe
    GOAT

Anything from here on out is just gravy. He has accomplished everything.

He still has to win without Pippen

Who was the defensive GOAT that played alongside LeBron in 2016?

And on top of everything else, he doesn't have a 1-9 playoff record without one particular teammate that he had to have with him for every championship he won.

This is true. He just has a 4/10 record after playing with Wade, Bosh, Kyrie, Love, A.D., Dwight, Rondo.

    I partially agree.

I think he has already proven that he is equal or better than everyone else except Jordan, and catching Jordan seems unrealistic, so he is basically locked into the top 3 now, and not likely to change that regardless of what happens from here.

    Jordan is #1.

Lebron and Kareem are #2/3 depending on how you value big men vs wing players.

You mention all those players, yet he won without each and every one of them.
I just have to mention one player: Scottie Pippen. And the fact that he needed Phil Jackson to coach him as well.

Without Pippen, he even got swept in the first round with Hall of Famer George Gervin on his team.

You could have made the same argument in 2016, when he delivered the Cavs the title he promised before The Decision. His peak was always going to be #2/#3 all-time after the 2011 series.

It depends on the criteria. I'd still argue that Jordan was better at his peak, but Lebron's extended peak/prime and results are starting to make a real dent in the case for Jordan over Lebron. If Lebron retired now, I'd still go with MJ.

But, man, if Lebron plays 5 more years or something and is still really good for most of them or something...I don't see how you can take anyone over him in history. Jordan's peak edge won't matter at that point. Lebron's level of play, impact, and longevity will be more valuable.
