This is a tougher ring to earn.
How is it tougher if everyone is playing at "their best" (which I highly disagree with)?
If everyone stepped up a level, including LBJ, due to your reasons being that everyone is rested with no crowds...
How does that make it tougher for LeBron?
Wouldn't he be well rested with no crowd influence affecting his play?
None of this makes it "tougher" to win a title, only easier when you already play with the most talent in the league.
LeBron fans lack logic. Yall treat it as if LeBron isn't playing in the bubble circumstances while everyone else somehow gets the benefits of the bubble
Whereas in reality all the benefits of being in the bubble truly only benefit extremely young players since there is no crowd (who lead teams with basically no title shots) or older aging players with extra rest(who lead teams favored to win it all aka LeBron). Players in the middle of their primes get the least benefits from playing in the bubble since they dont really need ridiculous amounts of rest and they don't really benefit from a lack of a crowd the way a very young player might benefit.
Again all the circumstances in the bubble literally cater to helping a 35yr old aging superstar playing for the most stacked team with all the narratives in the world incentivizing this player and team to win it all while other elite teams have actual incentives to not caring and going home early since:
1)they dont want to be there
2)the league obviously isn't valuing this title the way the entire league usually fights to win the title most years. Because almost the entire league isnt prioritizing this title, 95% of the league isn't truly competing, thus making it easier for any team that actually cares to win this summer league championship.

1st seeds are the ones who get disadvantaged by the bubble. They play on neutral courts instead of having HCA.
The Clippers are actually the team who stood to benefit the most because they would be playing 7 road games against the Lakers at Staples. Instead, they choked and didn't capitalize on the advantage to have a neutral court against Lakers

All it took for success in this years playoffs is literally WANTING IT...
The Suns heard disrespect for literally being looked at as a throw in, they literally WILLED their way to an undefeated record.
The Heat weren't really hot shit all year. They get to the bubble and just off the fact that Jimmy Butler cares more than most... that got his team to the Finals when just last year he couldn't WILL his team to the Finals as the 3rd/4th best player on the Sixers.
Because in every other year, pretty much the whole league cares. You cannot simply make it to the Finals most year by just simply caring.
Thats what happened this year.
Most of these up and coming teams that will be good for a long time didn't really have any urgency and were just happy to be back doing playoff things and just being involved in a playoff run (Celtics, Nuggets, Mavericks, Sixers, etc)
Clippers literally couldn't wait to get back to LA and couldn't really motivate themselves to win such a charade of a title.
As did most teams.
But an aging LeBron who hasn't played playoff ball in 2 yrs and is really getting the most pressure-less chance at a 4th title...
LeBron clearly sees a title that has the perfect storm of situational BS that feels handmade for a player in LeBron's situation to capitalize in.
Ill tell u what..
Ill give LeBron credit for caring more than the other teams.. but considering that a strong majority of the league didn't show up to stay at all... I can't pretend like this title provided any sort of actual challenge for a champion other than staying self-motivated.. and when you have more incentives to win this ring more than anyone else, how self motivated can you really claim to be...?
The most unimpressive ring of all time if we're being quite honest.

Fair is probably the more accurate word than tough. Because it's equally tough/easy for all teams. They all have the same training facilities, they all play in the same arenas, they all live in the same hotels, they all have the same days of rest. This will be the most fair ring ever won.
Not to mention the fact that the Lakers have busted their butts to get #1 seed all season and then they suddenly had to lose their earned home advantages and play lower seed teams that had the exact same advantages/disadvantages as them.

I actually think neutral courts give a major advantage to the more talented team. When you play the Lakers at Staples, its going to be the same crowd intensity that any top 6 seeded team has pretty much... BUT if you're the underdog.. homecourt has a real advantage. When you're the 8th seeded team playing the #1 seed, that stacked #1 seed never has to see your crowd who many times literally intimidates #1 seeds into stealing a game or two. Elite teams don't need homecourt at all to win a series. Underhanded teams need those two games that pretty much guarantee one win usually. Without those home games for the lower seed, elite teams only need to continue to strategize their way into winning which is probable with elite talent. Lack of a crowd takes much of the emotion out the game. And the best way for an underdog team to win is by turning the game into a physical emotional battle instead of a strategic one ala We Believe Warriors, 04 Pistons, etc
Neutral courts benefit high seeded elite talent teams more than anyone.

Its as fair of a ring you're going to see. Just basketball, no outside influence, no traveling. Again, just basketball.
The higher seeds were delt a bad hand if anything. Their "homecourt" was utterly meaningless. In the end, LA pulled thru though. Just like many predicted they'd do before the season began.
Eventually haters are gonna have to come to terms. You're fighting an uphill battle going against logic and reason.

aau tournament style, it's as fair as ever. and with so much tragedy over kobe's death and covid-19, it has an argument of being one of the strongest championships. respect to miami and los angeles for overcoming adversity, most of the big name superstars this year fell short early because they couldn't adjust to the rocky weather. stephen curry was only able to win 1 game and missed the playoffs

Not a good assessment. If you're using crowds as the primary factor that changes momentum in the bubble, that absolutely favors the non HCA teams. Clippers even had more talent than the Nuggets, but still choked.
And again... Lack of a crowd gives the underdogs a bigger advantage for the theoretical ROAD games. Instead of starting a series in hostile territory, you're in a neutral arena. That's not a benefit for the HCA team at all.

This is all spot on. And a total nail on the head thread. Five star easily. All facts. There’s even more unimpressive contest that even in your spot on analysis that you didn’t have time to get into.
