It is only one game - and he rightly played Luka minutes coming from recent injury and back to back games, not to mention scary fall. Luka is not at his top form right now. Stop hating on Carlisle - team is more important than individual stats, once they got to the postseason (which was Mavs goal before the season) than we can talk back.

Dude Carlisle is a great coach end of story. This year = highest offensive rating ever. The year they traded for Rondo, before the Rondo trade = highest offensive rating ever at that point in time.

That ain't no coincidence. The guy gets a look at everybody on the roster and then builds rotations that work like magic. The analysts and color guys always call him a warlock or a wizard for a reason.

Oh, let's also note what he did with Monta Ellis and declining Dirk.

No loved his recent rant about post play being generally not effective. For someone especially like kp who’s not good there, the suggestion he should post more and take shots away from luka and shooters is stupid and he expertly shot it down. I’m not even that harsh like him and can’t be here because of how many people disagree but I mostly agree with him.

And the people suggesting he should just emulate dirk are ridiculous. He’s an all time post/mid range shooter. It’s far more time effective for porzingis to just practice his 3 and some playmaking when he has to drive to the rim after a contest
