My favourite story twist is that the Kings gave Vlade Divac a 3 year contract extension in April 2019.
I still can't grasp it, that tales the whole concept of denial to a completely new leve.

And it's tragic considering that Divac knew about Luka coming into the draft yet said it was an easy choice to draft Bagley over him..you don't go for "fit" if you haven't made the Playoffs since 2006, you draft the best players available and figure it out, there's no reason why Doncic and Fox couldn't have made it work.. Bagley had a decent rookie season but holy shit.
Imagine Hield, Fox, Luka and Bogdanovic together, that's 4 shooters who can all move the ball and run in transition.. They could have had the new GSW.

Last year Bagley and Doncic pretty much had identical stats for the minutes they played. Bags had an excellent rookie season. Looks to be even better now, all you've seen on him this year is two quarters of bad basketball before he hurt his hand. For all you know he's a 25/10 player this season when he comes back.

Bagley improved every game last year. He had a really strong pre-season and we barely saw him play 15 healthy minutes this year.
Everybody laughed at the Hawks last year too. Look at the leap of Trae Young this year. Let's see what Bagley can do before we rush to judgment.

I can confidently say that Bagley’s best case, dead smack in his peak at ages 27-30, will be less than luka’s Second year so far
