Re: So what exactly is Danny Green supposed to do for the Lakers? LOL
The guy who shot 45.5% from three on over 5 attempts per game last season with elite perimeter defense is useless for us? We got two dominant scorers, we badly needed a 3 & D guy like Green.

He averaged 10.3 last season on 2.5 threes made a game, he plays defense, and he's experienced. Who gives you a quality role player.

He's old and washed. This isn't 2013 Danny Green. You watch the NBA in recent years?

The old Danny Green? Look at his career stats. He's always been a role player. He can still shoot.

This is false. He played 14-22 minutes in the games he scored 0 points and the Raps were 4 - 0.

He's only 32 and coming off his best Regular Season of his career(in terms of shooting) and looked as good as ever on the defensive end in the Playoffs.

He is a bench player not a starter. It's a reason Vegas always had him scoring 7 pts or less lOL

Everyone keeps thinking of the SPURS Danny Green and not the Danny Green of 2019

Green gives you 3 threes and 13 ppg per 36 minutes.

As I said in other thread green is a good pickup and yes he is slightly overpaid but under circumstances Lakers has no choice. With Lebron and AD on floor he will get plenty of open looks. Also a solid defender and has championship experience.
