Fred VanVleet guarded Steph Curry for 33 total possessions last night. During that span, Curry shot just 1

Curry wasn't stopped...the rest of his team played like sh1t. He dropped 34pts on 44% FG and 44% 3pt. I will give some credit to FVV for playing good defense and being ballsy enough to hand check tho. Marc Gasol was hedging Curry too, very effective bc it seemed to bother Curry.

Curry actually played very smart down the stretch by drawing FTs whenever he wanted to with the threat of him just looking at the rim and getting the defenders to jump. The rest of the team had nothing.

Nobody really gaurds curry because of all the screens he runs around. It's more of a team effort.
