Very very very very very very very disappointed

I was looking forward to this movie because I really like Jonah Hill and Eddie Murphy, but this was honestly one of the worst movies I've seen this decade. The story was boring, Jonah and his love interest had one of the worst chemistries I've seen on a movie screen, and there were a ton of racist, over-the-top moments in the movie. It was so political and racial that it made it impossible to watch. Almost every scene involved some racial remark and the ending was extremely rushed. Eddie Murphy wasn't funny at all in this. He was just an unbearable d*ck the entire time. God damn I wish I never watched this trash

yeah i watched it thinking eddie murphy would at least be funny.

the entire movie was a major flop despite a semi-strong cast. at some point i thought it was a parody of a woke film, like it was parodying itself...but no, someone wrote this thinking it would be entertaining. it's repulsive.

Creed III, a good movie, but there was something incredibly retarded about it.

It's a shame, because I normally don't call out movies for "bad writing".... but this is some of the worst writing I've ever seen.

Story goes like this:

A man serves 18 years in prison, and upon release, immediately scores a fight with the Heavy Championship of the World starting with a 0-0 record.

Right out of the gate... He's somehow given an opportunity to fight the Heavyweight Champion with a 0-0 record. That's dumb. Ruined the movie for me.



Jonathan Majors could've been one of the best Rocky Boxing villains of all-time, but they gave him a title fight with an 0-0 record and completely ruined what could've been a great character.

That's an unforgivable mistake and just piss poor writing.

rewatched Bullitt with McQueen. movie is too slowly paced for the era. nothing, and i mean nothing happens. i like slow burning stories when they are well done. but when the long shots of sirens and steve mcqueen staring soullessly into the ether are 90% of the film...ehh, i'll pass. beautiful car though. tried to rewatch it only because i'm looking into building a bullit stang'.
