Did Steve Nash surpass Kobe when he won back-to-back MVPs?

If we are talking individually, yes no doubt. Kobe never was anything special on an individual level, but as a career no.

Kobe was awarded a 7 foot one monster in O'Neal to lead him in his younger days where he might have been another 1-9 type of player (after all, Kobe is no LeBron).

If Harden misses the playoffs in his prime then we can bring them about even. As it stands, Harden has played for 10 years and has not missed the playoffs once.

Do you believe this or trolling to prove a point? There is no one specific formula to perfectly construct who/what is the best at anything, there will always be subjectivity. But you cannot deny that winning only 1 MVP in 20 years does hurt some of his legacy?

LAmbruh, are you even a Lebron fan or just a Kobe hater that has allied with Lebron fans because his fanbase hates Kobe the most.

Not sure who Simon is but why would an LBJ fanbase hate Kobe the most when they aren't even comparable at this point? Prior to 2012 I would say yes, LBJ fanbase hated Kobe because even though everyone knew LBJ was a better talent, Kobe had the rings and Finals MVPs. Fastforward to 2013 and the cinch was tightening around Kobe fan's necks. After 2016 there is no more comparison whatsoever, and one could even argue that after 2013 there was no comparison.

How can a fanbase hate a player that is tiers below them? That would be like a Magic Johnson fanbase hating on Allen Iverson. It just...doesn't...make...sense?

Hmm... seems legitimate... let's give this a heavy level of analysis...

Shaq + Kobe = 3 titles and 4 finals appearances.
    Kobe + Nash = FAIL.

    Oops, guess not.

    His statement clearly reads:

    My city, his kingdom.

Suffice to say the man is the biggest Lakers fan we have on this board.

I've never even seen that typed out and while it's got a bit of humor to it, it is a funny and interesting point.

Peak for peak he's definitely better than Kobe but he needs to win a championship as the man just once to put forth a discussion worthwhile.
