Default 3 team trade between the Rockets, Cavs, and Kings complete

Rockets get: Iman Shumpert, Nik Stauskas, and Wade Baldwin

Cavaliers get: Brandon Knight, Marquese Chriss, and a 1st round pick

    Kings get: Alec Burks

I like this trade for the Rockets. Shumpert is high energy perimeter defender and Stauskas will fit perfectly in the D'Antoni offense

Weird on why the Kings would do this, Shumpert's been really good for them this year. Alec Burks isn't really gonna move the needle for the PO's. Solid haul by Houston, I expect for them to go hard after someone like Wesley Matthew after buyouts start.

Not sure exactly what the Kings needs are but Burks can score the ball, get to the line and rebound. Great athlete that should fit in their high octane offense. He's a long defender as well.

Surprised Rockets didn't go for more, but I guess they are going to get another piece in the buyout market.

Burks is a nice get for the Kings. Cavs get two pieces of garbage and a pick. Rockets get another black hole chucker in Stauskas and a solid defensive player in Shumpert who is ok but certainly doesn't tip the scales.

I think it depends on who the Rockets get in the buyout market.

Having a guy like Shump could actually really matter in the playoffs imo.

Definitely, but will he even get the minutes he deserves and requires to be effective and have that kind of impact? They'd certainly benefit from giving him some of Ennis' minutes but they get even smaller then.

Well, the biggest thing that killed the Rockets last year (other than the injury to Paul)...was lack of depth.

If they get healthy and add a buyout player...they definitely have way more depth this year.

I mean...Shump in 15 minutes a game could be very valuable in the playoffs.
