Fati played his last match of the season on Nov 7 which was Matchday 9.
Coutinho played his last match of the season on Dec 29 which was Matchday 16.
Dembele was actually mostly healthy for once but scored 11 goals in 44 matches played.
In actuality Messi's best help was a struggling Griezmann.

Messi only had Griezman and Dembele upfront?
Sorry, that‘s rough.

Well... Barca actually was an elite team on offense all things considered despite Messi and a struggling Griezmann. We were 3rd in Europe in terms of goals scored IIRC. The problem was all the goals we were allowing. The defense was terrible partly because the CB's are plain bad (old Pique + Lenglet) and partly for our slow and soft midfield.
Anyways PSG is a good enough team to win the CL. You won't hear any excuses from me at this point but if Barca was as good as you say people like you wouldn't have their panties in a bunch right now.

Barca's situation has nothing to do with why people "have their panties in a bunch right now".
Anyway Barca will flourish and you will be surprise pikachu face

Well Barca might flourish. This season we may have a healthy Fati and Coutinho plus Griezmann may just play better. Guys like Pedri and FDJ could get better as well. Still I think we will finish no higher than 3rd in La Liga and R16 in the CL.

We're going to pretend this thread isn't full of Messi haters?
Went and lost the league in a 1-team league with an absurd quality disparity. Already lost the cup at the beginning of this season. Yes he had the CL finals run and botched up the final. Started an injured Kane which allowed the Spurs to play 10v11 for most of the game instead of the guy that took them there in the semis.

you will see Barca will do better than R16 because this Barca team is better than the Real three-peat CL winners Ronaldo left.

Yup Nico with the golazo
Kudos to the late Sigi Schmid, the OG Sounders Brian Schmetzer and Sounders front office for being very consistent on building great teams since they joined MLS a decade ago. They even manage to bring Fredy Montero back after mediocre years with Whitecaps and makes him good again.

I feel sad for my team but Barca dug its own grave. Paying over 400 million for Griezmann, Dembele and Coutinho destroyed the club.
Good enough to win CL:
Xavi
Iniesta
Puyol
Pique
(Busquets)
(Alba)
(Villa)
Those players already won 3 consecutive major tournaments without Messi. After Xavi, Iniesta and Puyol's retirement both Barcelona and Spain couldn't win any major tournaments.

Anything less than a Champions league trophy puts Messi out of the top 5
He has the most stacked team on the planet, no excuses
