Default MJ - no 2nd Round before rookie Pip... Lebron - no PO before Hughes/Brown in 06'

Receiving a 20 ppg, all-nba defender gave lebron the minimum help he needed to make the playoffs, and is comparable to rookie and 2nd year pippen, who gave mj the minimum help needed to get past the 1st round

If course, MJ nearly made the Finals without Phil, while lebron never made the playoffs without Brown

Two quick questions

1. Are you comparing Scottie Pippen to Larry Hughes
2. Are you comparing Phil Jackson to Mike Brown

Mj also made the playoffs with 30 wins, meanwhile Lebron missed the playoffs with 42 wins.

Lebron was losing in B2B Playoff runs with the #1 seeded teams, couldn't beat Orlando & Boston without Wade/Bosh.

After 1989, every version of pippen > Hughes

But not 88' or 89' pippen, who were equal with Hughes, and inferior to peak Hughes in 05', who was 22/6/5 and steals champ with 1st team all-defense..

And Phil was nothing before MJ. MJ made him and the triangle

these are common knowledge facts..

And regarding Phil - if MJ had done to Phil and the triangle what lebron will do to Luke, we'd never have heard of Phil or the triangle

MJ molded Pippen at his personal home practices everyday before practice.

Lebron molded no one. All he ever did was drive teammates away.

One man wanted to win more than anything, the other man wish he had as much drive to want it as badly.

In the end, lestans stay triggered while 3ball stays winning and there's not a thing anyone can do or say about it. Now tell us how that makes you feel before 3ball makes another thread about it and widens the wound.

MJ didn't have the East all-star center on his team like lebron did in 05'

Again, Hughes/Zydrunas were the "help" lebron needed to make the playoffs, and both were equal or better than 89' pippen

Because answer this:

was 89' pippen capable of 2-time all-star (05' Zydrunas), or 22/5/5 steals champ and 1st team all-D (05' Hughes)??

MJ had Christian Laettner, the all star.
A 20+ point scorer in Stackhouse. 2x all star
Hughes

Missed the playoffs.

Regular Season

MJ. 85-87':. 31.7 ppg.. 2.0 oreb.. 3.6 dreb.. 5.0 apg.. 2.6 spg.. 1.2 bpg.. 57.1 ts.. 27.8 PER
LBJ 06-08'... 27.2 ppg.. 1.2 oreb.. 5.9 dreb.. 7.1 apg.. 1.4 spg.. 1.0 bpg.. 56.3 ts.. 27.2 PER..

^^^ yet MJ got the 8 seed and Lebron got a 2 seed and a couple 4 seeds

Playoffs

MJ. 85-87':. 35.5 ppg.. 1.9 oreb.. 4.4 dreb.. 6.9 apg.. 2.4 spg.. 1.5 bpg.. 56.0 ts.. 27.4 PER
LBJ 06-08'... 27.5 ppg.. 1.4 oreb.. 6.6 dreb.. 7.3 apg.. 1.6 spg.. 0.8 bpg.. 53.1 ts.. 23.8 PER..

^^^ Yet MJ lost in the 1st round and Lebron made Finals... obviously, MJ had the worse cast

Hughes

Missed the playoffs.
And lebron missed it with the East all-star center

Again, lebron needed Hughes and Zydrunas to make the playoffs, just like MJ needed pip to make 2nd round.. except 89' pippen wasn't capable of 2-time all-star (05' Zydrunas), or 22/5/5 and 1st team all-D (05' Hughes)

Like, do you really think lebron carried lottery teams to the 2 seed and Finals, while MJ had 8 seeds and 1st round exits with the same cast?

No - MJ had nothing until 1989, and 89' pippen was still less than 05' Hughes or Zydrunas.. lebron's conference was also weak, so that contributed to his higher seeds too.....

Unfortunately, the way the media analyzes lebron/MJ, they imply that lebron was getting high seeds and the Finals with the same casts that MJ got 8 seeds with... But that's not true, and the stats above show that mj was producing far more than lebron

MJ had Orlando Woolridge and Charles Oakley but they’re “nothing” now. If they played with LeBron 3braincells would call them superstars.
