I'm a fan of both players but this is dumb. For one comparing stats from this era to any other area is just stupid. To many rules have been put in to benefit the offensive player.
Two, LeBron is a point gaurd who plays in a system that runs everything through him. Of course he's gonna have better overall stats.
Third, I'm getting tired of saying this but defence is half the battle. mj's defence in the mentioned games was way better.
I know this forum is full of stat nerds that think stats are the end all and be all but stats are overrated when comparing players. Eye test and winning are more important

Difference is that Jordan puts up elite numbers in WINS. Lebron's Finals' numbers are heavily inflated by facing the Warriors 4x, who play small and at a very high pace, and who's game plan has been to let him drive the basketball in single coverage to wear him out over the course of a game.

Imagine opposing teams coaching against MJ and thinking to themselves "hey, let's sag off on this guy and let him shoot jump shots" or "let him drive the basketball in single coverage he'll be worn out by 4th quarter".

We saw what happened when MJ faced a high-pace run & gun team in '93, he averaged 41/9/6 on 51% shooting against a small ball team, who's tallest player on the court was a 6-10 Tom Chambers or Mark West no real rim protection.
