Default Fact or Fiction: Harden will finish his career with a higher ppg than Kobe did

James Harden is currently at 21.1 ppg for a career entering his 8th season in the league.

Kobe ended his career at 25.0 PPG

4 straight seasons with 25+ ppg, ended up last year with 29.0 ppg.
He will continue the stat padding this year, as he is their only all star.

I believe (even tho I don't like him) he could average 30 ppg this year and the year after. We all know that he will just get his, in the regular season and that is a fact.

    What y'all think?

It's possible I guess. But who really cares.

Unless you're #1 on the list pure stats like these don't really matter.

When it comes down to it though I don't actually think he'll actually do it. You have to account for the decline years too.

    He won't.

He averages 21 PPG now... in his prime. He will not be able to jump over 4 PPG and hold that mark. There will be a time in which his PPG will decline......

A player has to play both sides of the floor to be considered a complete player, and IMO Harden has never been.
