We all still hold a special place in our hearts for Paul Millsap.
Yet I was the only one that thought the Jazz should have kept him.
He's be a nice back-up.

[QUOTE] The greatest story of the night is the roll of George Hill. Hill is not playing due to the thumb injury and Rodney Hood was having a brutal night. He evidentially was sick, was battling it at shoot around, and George Hill told him he needed three minutes from him. It changed Hood

So is Neto. A joke that he hasn't even got a look with Hill out and Mack and Exum up and down.
The first: playing Raul Neto in anytime besides the clutch. Neto's a little bit better than Mack defensively, in my opinion, unless he has to play against bigger point guards. Offensively, it's a little bit more of an adventure, admittedly, but he's happier to play off the ball.
Why can't he play in the clutch? He started last year. He can hit the 3. He gets after people defensively. Can run the offense.
The Jazz could also play without a point guard. I don't know if that's really feasible without Alec Burks against teams with any kind of speed at the point guard position, and Elfrid Payton's fairly fast.
match-ups go both ways

Looking further down the road, Hood could possibly have his eyes set on his first of many All-Star appearances (yes, he is that good).

Following that game, Utah coach Quin Snyder simply said his team "had no juice." It's an experience the Jazz want to avoid having again.
Wouldn't that be the perfect time to play Neto, Withey and Bolomboy?

The Jazz made some changes to their roster over the summer, trading for point guard George Hill, and selling Johnson on internal growth. That convinced Johnson to sign with Utah.
2 years 22 million had nothing to do with it? Anyone else offer anything close? I assume they could have given him a bit more than the Heat last year since they were under the cap still.
Hood ill with cold
For Rodney Hood, the latter part of the road trip has been dominated a head cold and congestion, one of the reasons he struggled on Friday against the Orlando Magic.
the other reason is that he's just streaky?

it's been impressive how he's so quickly and easily stepped into the number one role for the Jazz
number one scoring option? Still not convinced he's more important than Rudy or Hill.
He's absolutely a max player and one of the top 20 players in the league, and he's showing it through his first five games this season.
the question is can he lead a team? Rudy has. Hill has. Favors and Hayward?
3. Rodney Hood as second unit leader
Quin Snyder seems to have found a relatively effective solution to the second unit's bench scoring woes: playing Rodney Hood as the main bench scorer in the second quarter.
Hood has done little with the starters since Hayward came back. Why even start him at all?

Miami Heat announcer Eric Reid said that Hayward reminds him a bit of a bigger, more athletic version of Chris Mullin. Personally, I really like that comparison for G-Time.
I can see that.
