USFL was kind of like the ABA, both leagues inferior to the NFL & NBA, but they had lots of talent and potential, USFL for example had players Jim Kelly, Steve Young, & Reggie White, all HOF players. It was a league on the rise until Trump came in and ruined the league.

philadelphia wound up getting reggie white out of the USFL's collapse, so i'm pretty happy about it. they had arguably the greatest defense in NFL history in 1991, and it was all built around him.
