D'Angelo will be a star boys. Been saying it forever.

He's been damn good. I don't expect him to shoot much over 40% from 3, but other than that he's good.
I can easily see a 25/7 guy in the not-so-distant future

Kinda hysterical to see this place light up like two games into the season calling him a bust
Absolutely no one is talking about Jahlil Okafor anymore.

Seriously, this. Okafor started out better and then got hurt. Now Russell is showing out with less than 2 months left to play.
People just overreact to 19 year olds not knowing the ropes yet thinking they are busts because they aren't Towns or putting up rookie James numbers.

Re: D'Angelo proving he's not a bust
By the way, does Byron Scott get any credit for developing his players or is he just a bottom 3 coach who has been "holding his young talent back" ?

Byron Scott DID hold Russell back, by yanking him at every mistake early in the year, and running the offense through mamba rather than handing Russell the keys.
Russell has finally been given the keys to the offense and guess what it turns out he's a stud point guard.
If Scott was playing Russell more minutes earlier in the season and giving him more focus, we'd be a 4/5 seed right now.
