If LeBron could handle a reduced role coming off the bench and be a Lamar Odom type player for the Warriors it would be very effective.

Basically the offense would flip to LeBron at the top of the key and Curry and Thompson on the wings, he would need clearouts in the lane to play his way so that takes out Green's and Boguts abilities with one another, not to mention the pace would be different and they wouldn't be taking as much advantage of Curry's ability to draw defenders.

Defensively of course it could work though.

Only way I'd see it working is a platoon system

He'd be fine. If he played how the team already plays, and he just takes the Draymond role.

    He'd basically be a 18/10/10 guy.

GSW wouldn't even want him. His ball stopping, iso game would make GSW a much worse team and much less potent. GSW is so dangerous because they play perfect team ball. The ball never sticks and guys never stand in one position. All of LeBron's teams do the opposite. Give the ball to LeBron and watch.

Interesting considering how bad their ball movement was today without him.

Teams are going to go with what they know when their star is out. And their two best players are iso players so their bread and butter is doing a lot of watching. If they had played an optimal style like GSW where they make sure the ball never sticks and one guy doesn't stand in one position, they would play this way when their star is out.

They don't need him and Lebronball would be a horrible fit in what they do offensively. Would be surprised if they even considered this.

I really think the pace would be too much for him. It wouldn't be a good fit for his style.
