Default Switch Kobe and Duncan on their current teams

Are the Spurs still dominant with Kobe? Do the Lakers still suck with Duncan?

kobe straight up wouldn't play. he'd just ruin what they have in san antonio.
duncan would probably be the best player on the lakers impact-wise, but that team isn't winning many more games.

yeah Duncan's 8 points per game and 26 minutes per game is really going to make a difference on a lottery team

current SA starting shooting guard = 7/4/2 on 36% while taking 7 FGA per game..

Give Kobe two all stars, an amazing bench and a GOAT coach and he would be a great addition to the Spurs. He currently has no problem deferring the young guys when they get hot, he would be fine with taking a backseat to two all stars this year..

    Spurs would suck more

Kobe would ruin the flow by his shot jacking. If he just plays defense, takes smart shots, and passes to the right man the Spurs would still suck a little more. They'd miss Duncan's post defense and rebounding.

Lakers would be a little better

This isn't the same Duncan from the early 2000's. No no no NO! If that were the case, the Lakers would be one of the best teams. The Lakers play better this season without Kobe and that's a fact. Add Duncan to that team and they get some veteren leadership, defense and rebounding.

yep. kobe fans are just going to come here and rage but we all know the truth. kobe is straight up a net negative by pretty much every metric. the spurs wouldn't touch someone like him with a 10 foot pole

Prime Duncan led an all NBA all-star cast to third place against teams with mostly non-NBA players and much inferior talent, to the embarrassment of Americans everywhere. I don't hate Duncan, but just sayin.

    He's averaging terrible basketball.

Also that guy that said Kobe would defer to all stars and take the back seat, Kobe on a team he thinks is in the running doesn't take the back seat he tries to take the limelight and would ruin it at this point in his career.

Spurs wouldn't be able to pay for all those good players that make the team so stacked

Put Duncan on the lakers, Pau and Nash would still be there, Odom wouldn't be a drug addict. Phil wouldn't have quit on the lakers. Shaq and Duncan would have dominated the league from 1999-2007
