None of the bolded belong there at all. Perhaps it's a personal preference, but unless you lose, you can't count it

in the series can be considered choking. And if you are referring to game 6 when he missed a little bunny, consider that that 36 year old had a 30 pt 17 rebs 62%FG game where he played 44:26 (just 1 minute less than the 21 year old Leonard) and maybe he was just darned TIRED at the end of the game.
2013 is Tony Parker EASILY. Outplayed by Mario ****ing Chalmers in the two crucial closeout games. Tony Parker was the first option for the Spurs in the regular season and playoffs and ended up choking big time against the Heat needing Duncan, Danny Green, and Leonard to bail him out. Possibly the worst Finals series ever for a first option player.

Re: Your top 5 choke artist MVPS in the NBA finals.
Do people not understand that in order to choke you have to either be favoured to win or in a position to win? Losing a game or a series doesn't automatically make a team or a player a choker. Sometimes players or teams lose to better players or teams, and there's no shame in that.
In sports, a "choke" is the failure of an athlete or an athletic team to win a game or tournament when the player or team had been strongly favored to win or had squandered a large lead in the late stages of the event.
Was Cleveland favoured in 2007? No. Not a choke.
Was Miami favoured in 2011? Yes. Choke.
Was Miami favoured in 2014? No, but the odds were close. Arguably a choke.
Was Cleveland favoured in 2015? No. Not a choke.

I disagree with that definition of what a choke is.
When you are considered a great player let alone a GOAT type player and you play terribly in a playoff series then you choked.
Doesn't matter if your team is badly outmatched or visa-versa.
Sure no one would blame Lebron for "losing" in the 07 Finals given the apparent mediocrity of his cast however that doesn't excuse the fact that individually he didn't show up and played like garbage.
Jordan was often in similar situations in the late 80's and also "lost" but he still put up great numbers and performed like a GOAT player.
So yes Lebron "choked" in the 07 Finals.
There is no way around that.

'81 Bird, 15,15,7 is a choke? And they won?

Wade lost in 2011, as lebronxrings pointed out
So that was a choke, especially since Wade had HCA as well
