It's the drill they were doing in the USA team training during the off-season

Current LeBron would be a second tier player if we're talking 1v1. No surprises here.

You got guys like Durant, Steph, Porzingis in tier 1 fwiw.

So... only one dribble was allowed.

And apparently Lebron evened it up to 2 games won each after a hot-start from Kyrie. So... Kyrie didn't even win?

This is how you get people to click on a link on the internet. Terrible "journalism"

No one plays 1 on 1s seriously, especially teammates. You think Kyrie would be able to stop a committed and motivated Lebron James?

Yeah... Kyrie went up 2-0 in a game in which only 1 dribble was allowed and they played to 3 buckets. The report said Kyrie got a hot hand when he won those games.

LBJ then won the next 2 before the drill ended.

Should we call Kyrie a choker now?

I hope that means he's getting in shape, he needs to play good defense for the cavs to really have a good chance at winning the championship.

Actually no. Give me height, size and strength over handles and dribbling moves in a 1v1 anyday.

Yeah but they were only allowed one dribble so strength and size was useless

When you play 1 on 1 and you're the smaller guy you must make your shots, because out rebounding and defending a player like Lebron isn't easy.

One dribble pull up 1v1 though

That negates all of LeBron's strengths ... no rebounding. No size advantage. Less defensive impact.

And Kyrie was reportedly in the zone and only won 3 games to 2 games for LeBron ... and it was first player to 3 buckets. Big deal.

The best one on one guys in the league right now are as follows:

    Durant
    Steph
    LeBron
    Melo
    Kyrie
    Harden
    CP3
    Westbrook

Some of you may already have heard that I am a longtime Pacer fan but I also follow the Cavaliers as well. Seeing many Cavaliers games I have seen how LeBron's lack of skills and fundamentals has really been exposed with his dwindling athleticism. This mixed with the fact that LeBron James doesn't really have a consistent jump shot and it's no surprise that he lost to Kyrie Irving.

Not that I don't disagree with part of your assessment, but he lost the first two games to Kyrie and then Kyrie lost the last two games to LBJ. Fwiw I think LBJ is skilled in many aspects, but shooting has always been and likely always will be an Achilles heel.

It's the same way LBJ used to beat Ray Allen in 3 point competitions. They win some, they lose some.
