Jordan's midrange game and jumpshot is severely underrated here

Everytime there's a discussion about the best midrange players or jumpshooters, Michael Jordan is almost never mention. Despite the fact that no one else has made more jumpshots than Jordan, and Jordan was able to do this on insane efficiency (49% from midrange in 1997, same as Steve Nash at his prime).


It's really funny how people bring up names like Allan Houston, Nash, West, Nowitzki, etc. Because none of them have the efficiency like jordaan, none of them have made more jumpers than jordan, and none of them was as good as creating his own shot than Jordan.


It's even funnier when people say Kobe is a better midrange shooter and jumpshooter than jordan Jordan makes more jumpshots at a way superior field goal % than Kobe, it's not even comparable.

I understand where you're coming from, but remember a lot of these posters on here are probably young, and didn't really get to watch MJ play. MJ midrange game was unstoppable.

a lot of guys can shoot better than jordan in the gym, but the difference is in the game. when defenders are all up their asses, they missing and bricking while jordan buries them in their faces. you don't lead the league in scoring for 10 years as a shooting guard without a deadly shot.

Since I've been here, there have been numerous comments made about Jordan's midrange game. Goes without saying after a while...
