Curry >> Iverson
Put Iverson on that Warriors team and they get bounced in the second round.

Re: Better player: Curry or Iverson?
Curry is the truth. The game has never seen a guy with his stroke, release and accuracy when you consider his volume. He was just blessed with a gift to shoot like that. But you add in his handles, ability to break down defenders and take it to the rack and draw the D and get others involved along with his ability to excel off ball? Just means he is very impactful.
AI is pound for pound the GOAT player and is one of the most explosive scorers ever but his heavy usage style was not conducive to winning. I take Curry without hesitation.

Same argument can be made for Curry on the '01 Sixers team.

Interesting argument because that would mean they could possibly lose to the Raptors in the 2nd round.
Vince Carter =/> Curry ?

Re: Better player: Curry or Iverson?
Iverson is, currently, ranked higher on the GOAT rankings. But I'm not sure it will stay that way.
And the Warriors with Iverson would not have won the title, just like the Sixers with Curry would not have made the Finals. That doesn't tell us anything.

Re: Better player: Curry or Iverson?
people don't understand how good Curry is.
there is nobody in the game now, or ever, that can do what he does beyond the 3pt line.
his style of play is changing basketball

Re: Better player: Curry or Iverson?
Curry is a much better shooter, passer, team player and a not a let me get mine guy. AI is a legend, but not one I'd want to build a franchise around.
Also, let's talk about practice

On yours, apparently. Not on mine and many others.
If a player is better than someone by their fifth or sixth year, then thats it. I dont need to wait until hes been around 10 years to acknowledge what I can already see now.

VC definitely caught fire that series, but that wasn't the point I was trying to make. Either Milwaukee or Toronto, I doubt Curry could make things happen like AI did. Because, don't forget, AI had to play his fcuking heart for 22 straight games, where he had to average close to 48 minutes for the entire playoffs(!).

And it is even more crazy to think there's this guy called Lebron James who owned him in the finals
It's crazy to think how good a 270 pounds, 6-9, 44 inch vert, 4.3 40, 500 pound bench, elite passing, player that can play all 5 positions exists. THAT'S the real phenomenon here

The game has never seen a guy quite like Curry. And what makes his shooting so sick is he makes it look effortless. It's just so pure. It's a God-given talent. That's one of the signs of true greatness, making greatness look effortless. Every shooter in the NBA would like to have his release and shot.
