    We win 113-102

Jazz shot at 58% FG...and we still never looked in any trouble

We are still giving up too much ball which is putting pressure on the defense, hopefully it gets ironed out as the season progresses.

If the big three stays healthy its easy 60+wins and finals appearance.

I'm sure the Jazz players will bring it up.

OKC was dumb for throwing the money they did at Kanter.

His defense is bad and they don't need his offense.

    Why you hate on him?

He got 17/11 last game in limited minutes...He's already one of the best offensive C's in the league at age 22..his defence needs improvement..but even Dirk was a horrible defender at 22.

No Kanter so far is one of the 2irst defenders ever at his position.

You don't win the championship playing 1 way basketball. If OKC reaches the finals, Kanter's minutes would likely get cut down to him being the last rotation player or just not seeing the court at all.

For every basket he scores someone can easily take it to him on the other end. You don't pay almost 20M a year for that. He's without a doubt one of the worst defending bigs in the league and you can only make so much progress in that area. And I don't think 18M a year or whatever it was is gonna motivate him to make much progress.

I agree that he one of the worse ever, but he did say he was working on it. He doesn't even need to be good just decent.

He got WORKED by KAT in preseason game 1, his first game to make a statement to his coaches and teammates that he is better than his rep... haven't followed since but I doubt that huge contract is gonna make him give a shit to put much work on that end of the floor.

Offense comes naturally to the guy, you can see it. He has a nice touch around the basket, good hands, natural footwork... but defense takes WORK. And if he wasn't willing to put in that work in on a rookie deal, why would he be willing to put that work in w/ all the guaranteed money he has now?

They're bringing him off the bench anyways. He probably sees his role as coming in to provide a spark on offense, overlooking the defense. I'm sure he'll still be one of the worst defenders in the league this year.

I don't think there is such a thing as an easy finals appearance in the western conference
