Yet on the big stage, he no longer can get his team to the playoffs in the Least.

Melo outplayed durant in the 12 Olympics, and the scoring was legit. Durant had a chance but woulda needed a Gervin type performance but he wanted to make sure he got his 50 40 90

Also, people shouldn't confuse anger with facepalming at stupid threads and calling their stupidity out in hope it makes the board better.

Guess not, but speaks volumes about what he had to do to get the 13 Knicks to the second round with jr and Felton as his 2nd and 3rd options

The Spurs have lost with stacked teams before in the past. I don't see anyone that isn't a diehard hater of the Spurs or troll completely neglecting that their good outweighs the bad.
It's hard enough to win and make the playoffs in a hard conference and then go on to win the title. Even tougher to do it over a near 20 year span, over a decade with the majority core still intact... while still trying to go for more than 5 chips. I still imagine if they win again next year that they will still get the "never repeated" notion, despite no other team having more rings than them in that same time span.

People don't realize how hard it is to keep coming back over such a long period of time. Sometimes I think Pop just knew they didn't have it in them this year and that he deliberately played Parker and lost to LAC (thinking better to lose early and rest/recharge than kill yourself going nowhere). That 2 year run to Finals did them in - just didn't have anything left. It's not easy to keep playing some regular season game in MIN in the middle of winter when you've won/done so much but you still have to do the work/eat right/take care of your body to be ready for the playoffs.

Don't worry, your fans can enjoy your yearly pasttime of making fun of other teams in the playoffs instead of watching your own team
