Default Horace Grant vs. Tristan Thompson

.
Regular Season:

Tristan: 10.1 ppg, 8.4 rpg, 0.7 blk
Grant:.. 11.2 ppg, 8.1 rpg, 1.0 blk

Playoffs:

Tristan:. 9.6 ppg, 10.8 rpg, 1.2 blk
Grant:. 11.2 ppg,.. 8.6 rpg, 1.0 blk

Tristan with significantly more rebounds in playoffs... More blocks too...

Both players are simple play-finishers around the rim, so the scoring is wash...

It's razor-thin close... Either way, MJ 3-peats with Tristan the same way he did with Grant.

Grant BY FAR and away.

Thompson without Lebron...24-58 and 33-49.

Grant without MJ... 55-27 and then 60-22.

Next...

Grant was an All-Star and an All-Defensive player.

This guy is pathetic.

BTW, when are you going to stop with these incessant "anti-Lebron" posts.

And please...quit bashing MJ's supporting casts, which were, BY FAR, the best in the league in the 90's (and against a watered-down NBA, too.)

And Grant was proven winner...something that Thompson has proven so far, that he is clearly not.

That just further goes to show how weak of an era the 90s were.

Thru 4 seasons (like Tristan this year), Horace was a nobody with zero accolades and worse stats..

Tristan's 10/8 career averages are better than Horace after 4 seasons - heck, they already match Horace's career 11/8 averages.

In his entire 17-year career, Horace was an all-star for 1 season (after he left the Bulls) and was a 2nd Team defender in 1993.. That's all he got in 17 seasons of work..

Thompson was Lebron's 2nd option and Grant was Jordan's 3rd option.

Actually, Thompson was the 4th option - here are the playoff averages:

Smith: 13/5
Mosgov: 11/7/2
Thompson: 10/11

Btw, Mosgov averaged 14/8/2 in the Finals, on 50% FG.

This is FAR superior to Pippen's 15 ppg on 34% FG in 1996 Finals, or his 15 PPG on 41% in the 1998 Finals.

Lol dude how stupid are you. Mozgov is a center, 90 percent of his shots are dunks/layups. Pippen is a perimeter player. And why'd you so conveniently leave off JR shooting 31%? Or Pippen's 8 reb and 3 assists in 1996? Or his 7reb, 5ast, 2 steals? Or you know his defense, the best aspect of his game?

I'd tell you to stop posting bullshit but it's actually fun taking a shit on you.

Is 3ball actually worse than the Kobe and LeBron fanboys?

LeBron went 2/6 yet OP is melting down worse than anybody else on the board. Dude's making literally multiple threads about LeBron a day. It's beyond rent free at this point, it's legitimately an uncontrollable obsession

Grant ( Jordan 3rd option) >>>>>>> Smith ( Lebron 2nd option)
