Cool Let's be honest here Duncan Vampires...

Let's be honest here, Duncan Vampires. But no matter how many rings Duncan wins from here on out they won't do much to improve his legacy since they will be roleplayer rings carried by Lamarcus Aldridge.

This Spurs team is more stacked than any of the hyped "Superteams' of the past couple of decades.

By that same token if Duncan fails to win at least one ring with this squad it will be a legacy-tarnishing fail that would completely drop him out of the Top 10.

Just who do you think will be anchoring the defense - LMA? Diaw? Bonner? David West if they get him? Just need to keep him at 25-27 min/game to keep him fresh for the playoffs and another run. And who (except you) expects a 40 year old to be carrying a team?

This is an insult to the real "defensive anchors" who play more than 6th man minutes.

It won't even be debatable at this point.

Duncan over the course of his entire career has played on more stacked teams with better coaching than Kobe Bryant.

    Same around of rings though

Let me guess, the Spurs lost last year because of Duncan too?

    2015 Playoffs
17.9 pts / 11.1 rebs / 3.3 asst / 1.3 stl / 1.4 blk 58.9%FG in 35.7 minutes - that's tied with Leonard for MOST minutes on the team - more than just a defensive anchor - 2nd in scoring also behind KL. Duncan saves it for the playoffs - what do you expect of a 39 year old?

Are you talking about that team that was bounced in the first round?
